Teams meet each other four times at the season.

FA CUP winner qualifies for the UEFA Europa Conference League.

In the event of a points tie the following will apply:
1. Goal difference from all matches.
2. Most goals from all matches.
3. Most points from matches between teams.
4. Goal difference from matches matches between teams.
5. Most goals from away matches between teams. (only if two teams)
6. Most goals from matches between teams.
7. Draw.
8. Play off match.

*Note: Criteria 1, 2 and 7 is only used if not deciding champion, teams for UEFA competitions and relegation.
