The champion of Apertura & Clausura, together with the team with more points in both the Apertura and the Clausura Reclasification tables enter the Copa Libertadores whilst, the fourth and fifth enter the Copa Sudamericana. The team with the less 3year avg pts relegates whilst, the 17th team plays play outs with the 2nd of the lower division.
In the event of a points tie the following will apply:
1. Goal difference.
2. Most scored goals.
3. Most away scored goals.
4. Less scored goals against.
5. Less away scored goals against.
6. Drawing.
