The FA CUP winner qualifies for the UEFA Europa League.
In the event of a points tie the following will apply:
1. Points between teams.
2. Goal difference between teams.
3. Most goals scored between teams.
4. Most away goals scored between teams.
5. Goal difference.
7. Most goals scored.
After 30 games the teams are separated into two groups of eight teams (Championship Group and Relegation Group) and will play seven more games and the points will be added on the halved points from the first 30 games.

* Note that table splits in half for last ten games of season - no team from Championship Group can drop into the Relegation Group, and no Relegation Group team can climb into the Championship Group, irrespective of points earned.
