The FA CUP winner qualifies for the UEFA Europa League.
In the event of a points tie the following will apply:
1. Points from matches between teams.
2. Goal difference from matches between teams.
3. Most goals for from matches between teams.
4. Most scored goals on away games from matches between teams (if two teams tied).
5. Goal difference from all matches played.
6. Most scored goals from all matches played.
7. Fair play ranking.
8. Draw.

After 30 games the teams are separated into two groups of eight teams (Championship Group and Relegation Group) and will play seven more games and the points will be added on the halved points from the first 30 games.
