The points obtained during the regular season were halved (and rounded up) before the start of the play-off. The fourth-placed team from the Championship play-off and the winners of the Conference League play-off will compete for one spot in the UEFA Conference League.

In the event of a points tie the following will apply:
1. Higher league position in regulra season.
2. Points from matches between teams.
3. Goal difference from matches between teams.
4. Most goals for from matches between teams.
5. Goal difference from all matches.
6. Most goals for from all matches.
